The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) based in the North-East of England, carry out vital Air Ambulance duties over a wide range of terrains, such as urban, rural, coastline and mountain ranges. Relying on public donations to operate, the service has been providing pre-hospital care at the scene of accidents and incidents, rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year through the Blood on Board initiative.
