Each year since 1974, the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the National Associations of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) partner to help local communities and medical personnel honor emergency medical services (EMS) practitioners. These frontline workers offer life-saving care before a patient arrives at the hospital, and the week of May 15 is dedicated to showing our appreciation for their service to our communities.
At Peli BioThermal, we see the intricacies of their work. Our Crēdo ProMed™ carry bag is used to store life-saving blood on an ambulance or helicopter. Because when a blood transfusion is most needed, it cannot wait until the hospital. Time is important.
Whether you work with the EMS field, have been touched by the work our first responders do in our communities or just appreciate their service, take time to celebrate our EMS practitioners this week. Need ideas? Check out NAEMT’s article about how to celebrate the week
